I'm in my twenties and was married in November 2007. I live with my husband and two bunnies in Lincoln, England. I love to sew for myself and others, in particular bridal wear and historic costumes. I have been crazy about costumes for as long as I can remember - from being besotted with Disney Princesses as a child to loving historic and fantasy costumes in various TV shows and films.
I love to dress up! In fact that's how I met my husband! I joined Regia Anglorum, one of the biggest international re-enactment societies for the early medieval period. From there I developed my passion for costume even further and am now the proud owner of my bespoke bridalwear business, specialising in historical styles!
Here's a sneaky peek of my 1850s evening gown for The Lady of Shalott film adaptation. It is made from the loveliest blue silk with a pretty floral design. It is then trimmed with satin bow and delicate lace. I can't wait to wear it for filming!
